About Sophie
I have 6 months of experience in essay tutoring for writing at a university level. All my students gained the writing skills needed to excel in various classes. Throughout my degree, I wrote an academic thesis, as well as assisted in writing multiple scientific articles in the process of being published in scientific journals. In class settings, I excelled and by the end of my degree, was achieving A grades on all my papers. Lastly, I have taken writing workshops, focused on giving effective writing feedback, and therefore know how to teach the writing skills I have gained. As a hobby, I focus on creative writing and have numerous short stories and poems published in various journals.

I can help high school and university students level up their essay writing. Specifically, I focus on argument structure in academic writing, giving students the tools to be able to formulate a logical argument based on any prompt or topic. I teach students how to be succinct and specific in their writing, while still developing a thorough argument. I also emphasize individual style, sentence structure, and proper grammar and teach outlining skills.
