My tutoring approach prioritizes conceptual clarity and active recall over rote memorization. I simplify complex chemical and biological mechanisms into intuitive principles using relatable analogies and active problem solving.
Typical Lesson Plan
We start with a brief review of previous topics and homework. We then dive into an interactive breakdown of new concepts, followed by guided practice using realistic test questions. We conclude each session with a student led summary to ensure full comprehension.
What Sets Me Apart
My combined experience in academic research and university level tutoring allows me to bring both academic rigor and relatable mentorship to every session. I emphasize effective study habits, critical thinking, and independent learning skills that serve students well beyond the classroom.
Who These Lessons Are For
My sessions are tailored for high school students in general, IB, or AP science streams, as well as university students taking introductory biology and chemistry courses.
