About Ayesha
I am a medical graduate with a strong background in clinical medicine and a particular interest in neurology. Through my training, I have gained experience in neurological assessment and clinical reasoning, which I bring into my teaching.
I aim to make neuroscience easier to understand by breaking down complex topics into clear, simple steps and linking them to real clinical examples. I adjust my sessions based on each student’s level and what they are trying to achieve.
My goal is to help students feel more confident with the subject, whether they are building their basics or preparing for exams like USMLE Step 1 or Step 2.

My teaching method focuses on making students understand concepts. rather than memorization, and I try to connect it to real clinical scenarios, when feasible for easier grasp
I adjust my teaching style based on student preference.
A typical lesson plan would include a brief review of previous material before introduction to a new topic, as it helps in active recall of information, followed by practice questions with discussion and reasoning.
What distinguishes me as a tutor is my strong clinical foundation, a clear focus on neurology, and a history of simplifying complex concepts such as tracts, lesions, and localization into clear, logical steps, teaching them in layman's terms for better understanding, and always being open to feedback and questions. Another aspect would be my experience with different medical curricula and exam systems
The lessons are for medical students in both pre-clinical and clinical years and those preparing for USMLE Step 1 or Step 2; allied health students who want a solid neuroscience foundation; as well as high school or undergraduate students interested in learning neuroscience at an introductory level.
