About Brandon

My name is Brandon. I am a physician that graduated medical school in 2023 and have an undergraduate chemistry degree from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.

Throughout the course of my training I have been encouraged to teach the future generations. My teaching experience started in my 2nd year of medical school where I was able to help failing students excel in their classes. I continued teaching in residency and now find myself here teaching future students.

I am here to lend a helping hand in navigating your classes. As someone who has been through the system, I can help give advice on how to get through medicine.

About the lesson

I'm a physician with a medical degree and undergraduate chemistry degree.

I am an expert at undergraduate biology and chemistry courses and familiar with navigating the field of medicine. I also offer MCAT tutoring and personalized advice on getting admitted to medical school.

My experience tutoring includes teaching medical students from my 2nd year of medical school until graduation. I taught 1 on 1 and turned failing students into B+/A students. I also taught students and younger interns/residents during residency.

I have a personalized teaching style. I quickly understand why there is a gap in understanding. I then employ different teaching methods such as using visual diagrams, quick study guides, practice questions and more!

A typical lesson with me would include going through class material. I provide detailed explanations and can help pinpoint high yield topics that are commonly tested on. From there I would provide questions to test knowledge and understanding.

I am able to teach undergraduate students on the pre-med track. I am able to give guidance in terms of class and getting accepted into medical school.
