Super tutor

Joanna is one of our best Gamsat tutors. High-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Joanna

I am a 2nd year postgraduate medical doctor and psychologist with a PhD in clinical psychology. I have a warm and supportive approach to tutoring and enjoy bringing out the best in your reasoning skills and written communication! In my spare time, I love reading, painting, and spending time with my dogs.

About the lesson

I am a passionate and supportive tutor with over 10 years of experience across all levels of education. I now enjoy supporting pre-medical students in preparing for their GAMSAT and interviews. I adapt my approach according to the student's needs and assist them to develop effective critical thinking and reasoning strategies for GAMSAT. I offer sessions via Zoom (as many or as few as desired by the student). I have created an original bank of GAMSAT style questions for students to work through with me. All of my students thus far have been successful in obtaining positions at their preferred institutions!

Perfect! If you need someone to help bounce ideas off and think more clearly about your S1 and S2 of the Gamsat, Joanna is the person to see!

I am confident that her tutoring played a big role in helping me get the scores I needed to receive an offer to study medicine.

Perfect! In the short time I had with Joanna, she was a really valuable source. She was a receptive to my unique aspects, and was able to capitalise on those for my own benefit. She explained things very clearly, and gave me new ways to approach questions I hadn't before thought of. I would strongly recommend Joanna.

My sessions with Joanna were super beneficial. It was great knowing that there was someone that truly understood my story and the personalised approach to interview prep. She's very particular about making personalised responses as well as making the time for very effective preparation prior to every session. If you need individualised interview preparation, I would go straight to Joanna! Thank you for all the help! I'll be starting med next year thanks to you.

Joanna is quite simply one of the most supportive teachers I’ve ever had. She listens, understands concerns and helps her students to work through them in a clear, easy-to-follow process. Furthermore, her compassionate, empathetic and detailed teaching style sets you at ease and instils confidence. Achieving your goals seems so much more realistic with Joanna’s help. I would 10/10 recommend her!
