About James

I am a trained Medical Doctor who loves to teach and help others. I have 10 years of tutoring experience, having originally started as a favour to my High School after being asked to return to help students.

Currently, I love to teach various subjects in English, Maths and Science (chemistry and biology) from a year 5 to a year 12 level. My other love is to help students who are trying to get into medical school, both in interviewing and gamsat practice. Having achieved in the top percentiles for my studies so far, I aim to pass that information on.

I use evidence based learning techniques to encourage students to study smarter, while loving their subjects.

About the lesson

I know that interviewing can be an extremely nerve-wracking experience.

I have just graduated from medical school and have 10 years of tutoring experience. When I entered into medical school on my first try, I trained and learnt how to be more natural, more confident and a better interviewee. it is 100% a trainable skill.

I want to help you get into medicine, and give you those skills. I have an endless list of public health, ethics and personality based MMI questions that we can go through. In addition to general structures and help with the psychological component of the MMI.

He can thoroughly, patiently, and kindly explain any topic in advanced mathematics and other subjects off the top of his head. In addition, he is reachable and responsive.
