About Zi

I worked as an instructor at Mathnasium, teaching math to students from Grades 1-12. In undergraduate, I volunteer tutor for kids from elementary school to junior high, and young adults obtaining GED. In my gap year between undergrad and medical school, I private tutored high school and undergraduate students in math, biology, and chemistry. Currently in medical school, I continue my passion for education by working towards Distinction in Medical Education.

About the lesson

I cater my teaching to individual student's preferences. I enjoy providing visuals and diagrams, and engaging students with questions. I can teach high school class and undergraduate intro chemistry, intro organic chemistry, thermodynamics, intro calculus, and biomedical stats (UWO course equivalences CHEM1301/ 1302 / 2213 / 2223 / 2374 / 3393, CALC1000 / 1301, STATS 2244)

Perfect! My experience with Ziyi, was pretty damn amazing. She modified her lessons to fit my personality quite well. I'm bit of a talker so her way to keep me focused on the task at hand was like me go on a tangent for a little bit (like a minute). She also helped understand chemistry in a more real-world way. Which helped a lot.
