About Madeleine

I am a medical student living in the West Midlands. I've always loved maths. Maths problems feel like little puzzles to solve, and learning new things gives me different lenses to see the world through.
I received A* grades in Maths at both GCSE and A-level. I have experience teaching Maths and English to young children one-on-one.

I take a principles-first approach and avoid rote memorisation to embed a genuine understanding of the fundamental mathematical concepts. Learning this way is more enjoyable, less intimidating, and allows students to develop curiosity, intuition, and an appreciation for the satisfaction of solving problems.
