About Karthik

I am a third-year medical student and have multiple years of tutoring and mentoring experience. I have taught a wide variety of students from KS2 to A-Levels and have been highly successful in helping them improve. I have also tutored the UCAT and helped with medical admissions and can pass on my knowledge having achieved in the top 5% for my year (2021).

About the lesson

All lessons are personalised to the student's needs, with a diary to track progress and keep a record of strengths and weaknesses. I will also help the student plan revision with a focus on spaced repetition and strategic revision, for a guaranteed improvement in grades. I will also provide help in applying to medical schools with tips on admissions and which medical schools to target.

Karthik was recommended to me by a close friend and I can see why. He taught my daughter A-Level biology and chemistry. He’s highly knowledgeable and patient, making complex concepts easy to understand. I saw significant improvements in my daughters grades, and I would highly recommend him as a tutor.

I was struggling with improving my biology grade for a few months so I decided to try tutoring to see if it would have any impact, I was trepidatious about who my tutor would be and if their teaching style would click with me, Karthik’s friendly and approachable nature was super helpful and I was able to really engage with his lessons, instructions were clear and his advice on using exam questions and providing me with techniques to tackle them was invaluable, 100% recommend.
