About Hala

My name is Hala Elabd, a year 13 student, dedicated in providing honest, affordable tutoring. I recently achieved all 9s in my GCSE Triple Sciences, Maths (losing only 7 marks) and Further Maths (losing only 8 marks). When I was a GCSE student, I dreamt of finding tutoring from an older student, who can relate to my GCSE struggles and teach me in a relaxed, comfortable environment, but this was not possible. Therefore, now, I hope to fulfil this wish for other students. I also want to deliver affordable, honest tutoring, where you are getting your money's worth. This is why my lessons and strategies are constantly improved using my student's feedbacks, which you will come to realise during my lessons, when I ask for your feedback and opinions on my explanations, personalised resources and etc.

About the lesson

Using my experience from helping students achieve 7/8/9 grades, I am confident I can push you to achieve your goals, by providing interactive, focused learning and sharing vital study skills, extra resources, homework and debunking myths. By using a mixture of explaining concepts and methods (always relying on the specification to never teach anything wrong) and walking through exam-style questions, in no time, you will be acing these questions and telling me how to answer them. Having completed my exams only a year ago, I have recent first-hand experience, with a full understanding of how these exams work and for sciences, the key terminology, definitions and methods that you need to include in your exam to smash it. As a student who self-taught majority of GCSE Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics (because I moved schools often), my method towards tackling revision and challenging topics has been tested time and time again, by myself and my students, and is set to ensure you achieve the best results you can :) Not only that, I will work with you every step of the way, including motivating you, because I completely understand the daunting nature of these GCSE exams.
