About Ashvika

I am currently a second-year medical student at St George’s University of London. During my A-levels, I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, and successfully completed two entrance examinations to secure my place at university. I specialise in tutoring Biology and Chemistry at all levels up to A-level, and I also offer tutoring in Psychology, Maths, and English across various levels. Additionally, I provide guidance for students preparing for entrance exams, including the 11+ and UCAT, helping them to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

About the lesson

I have a broad teaching background, working with students of all ages, from primary school to sixth form. In addition, I have hands-on experience supporting children with disabilities, developed through my volunteer work at Marjorie McClure School, where I gained valuable skills in adapting my teaching approach to meet their unique needs. I use a flexible teaching approach to accommodate a wide range of learning styles and needs. By employing strategies such as diagrams, analogies, and active recall techniques, I help students grasp complex concepts and retain information more effectively. My goal is to build students' confidence in their abilities, enabling them to achieve their academic objectives. Additionally, I teach study skills and revision techniques that students can practise independently, maximising their learning potential.
