About Laurel
I am an experienced Economics tutor with 20 years of teaching students from school to college level. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 200 to 250 students, helping them build strong understanding and confidence in the subject. My teaching focuses on making Economics simple, clear, and meaningful for every learner.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and support. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and consistency. I break down complex topics like microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics into easy steps so students can understand them without stress. I also connect concepts with real-life examples to make learning more practical and interesting.
I support students in exam preparation, assignments, and improving their analytical thinking skills. Regular practice, feedback, and revision are key parts of my teaching method. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s needs and pace of learning.
My goal is not only to help students score well but also to develop a strong foundation in Economics that they can use in their future studies and careers.

My teaching style is based on strong communication, so students feel free to ask questions and share their thoughts. I listen carefully and adjust my methods to match each student’s learning pace.
Compassion is at the heart of my teaching, as I understand that every learner has different challenges. I maintain accountability by setting clear goals and tracking progress regularly. Integrity guides my teaching, ensuring honest support and meaningful learning rather than shortcuts.
