About Lauren
I am a Microsoft Excel tutor with 13 years of teaching experience. I have trained around 200 to 300 students from school and college levels. My focus is to help learners build strong practical skills in Excel that support both academics and career growth.
I teach Excel from basic to advanced level in a clear and simple way. My lessons include spreadsheet basics, formulas, functions, data entry, formatting, charts, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, and data analysis. I also guide students in using Excel for reports, projects, assignments, and office tasks. Each topic is explained with real-life examples so that students can understand how Excel is used in daily work.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and consistent practice. I believe every student can learn Excel with the right guidance and support. I break complex topics into small, easy steps so that learning becomes simple and stress-free. I also focus on hands-on practice in every session to improve confidence and skill.
One of my key achievements is successfully mentoring hundreds of students who have improved their academic performance and job readiness. Many of my learners have gained confidence in handling data and completing assignments independently.
I always maintain a supportive and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to make students independent in using Excel for studies, projects, and professional work.

I follow a structured and practical teaching approach for Microsoft Excel. My goal is to help learners become confident in using Excel for studies, office work, and career growth. I begin with the basics such as spreadsheets, formatting, data entry, and simple formulas. Gradually, I move toward advanced topics like functions, data analysis, charts, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data validation. I also include related tools like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for better productivity and presentation skills.
My teaching method is highly practical and task based. Every topic is explained with real life examples such as reports, budgeting, attendance sheets, and business data. Students learn by doing hands on exercises in every session. I encourage problem solving so learners understand how Excel is used in real workplace situations.
I bring compassion and patience into my teaching, ensuring every learner feels supported. Flexibility is key, so I adjust my pace based on each student’s understanding. Clear communication helps break down complex formulas and features into simple steps. I maintain accountability by tracking progress and giving regular feedback. Positivity is always present to keep learners motivated and confident.
I also cover job oriented skills like data cleaning, reporting, and basic automation concepts. My aim is to help students not just learn Excel, but use it effectively in academics and professional life.
