About Lumi
I am a dedicated Microsoft Excel tutor with 4 years of teaching experience. I teach Excel to High School and College students and have successfully guided around 300 to 350 students in developing strong spreadsheet skills. My goal is to make Excel easy to understand and useful for both academic and practical purposes.
I teach important Excel topics such as formulas and functions, data formatting, charts and graphs, sorting and filtering, pivot tables, and basic data analysis. I also help students learn how to organize data clearly and create simple reports for assignments and projects. My lessons focus on step-by-step explanations so students can understand each feature with confidence.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and practical learning. I believe students learn Excel best when they practice using real examples. During my sessions, I guide students through exercises that help them apply what they learn immediately. This approach helps them remember concepts and use Excel more effectively.
Over the years, many of my students have improved their academic performance and completed assignments and projects successfully using Excel. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
My aim is to help every student gain confidence in using Excel and develop skills that will be valuable in their studies and future careers.

My teaching approach for Microsoft Excel focuses on building practical skills and clear understanding. I help students learn how to use Excel in a simple and structured way so they can apply it confidently in school, college, and professional work. My lessons start with the basics and gradually move to more advanced topics.
I teach important Excel areas such as data entry and formatting, formulas and functions, charts and graphs, data analysis, sorting and filtering, and conditional formatting. I also guide students in related skills like data management, spreadsheet organization, PowerPoint and Word support for reports, and preparing clear notes and assignments using Excel tools. Students also learn useful functions such as VLOOKUP, IF functions, pivot tables, and basic data visualization.
My tutoring style is based on motivation, empathy, flexibility, problem solving, and clear communication. I understand that every student has different learning needs, so I adapt my lessons to match their level and goals. I encourage students to ask questions, explore different solutions, and practice real tasks.
During sessions, students work on practical examples that reflect real life situations such as organizing data, creating reports, and analyzing information. This hands on learning helps them understand how Excel is used in real work environments.
I also help students with assignments, project work, and preparation for exams or job related tasks. My goal is to help learners become confident Excel users who can manage data, solve problems, and use spreadsheets efficiently in their studies and future careers.
