About Sara
Hi, my name is Sara, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed in science. I currently teach high school Life Science: Biology at a private school where I work with students who have IEPs and learning differences. I understand that every student learns in their own way, so I focus on making lessons clear, approachable, and engaging. My goal is to help students not only understand the material, but also feel more confident in their abilities as learners. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple steps and finding creative ways to make science more relatable to everyday life. With experience in both classroom teaching and one-on-one support, I bring patience, structure, and encouragement to every session.

I offer tutoring sessions designed to support students who need extra help in science. My lessons are structured, engaging, and personalized to fit each student’s learning style. I focus on breaking down complex scientific ideas into simple, manageable steps and creating a positive learning environment where mistakes are part of the learning process. My tutoring is best suited for middle and high school students who want extra support in mastering science content and building stronger academic skills.
