About Virginia
My approach is an I do, we do, you do system where you have the opportunity to explore each topic and identify where any difficulties may lie before moving forward to the next topic. I provide a one-to-one environment where mistakes allow students to grow confidence and skills without all the distractions that can happen in the traditional classroom.

I'm a special education teacher with 11 years experience in the classroom and 6 years of online tutoring experience. I believe every child can learn math and that the middle school years are the best opportunity to ensure the students are well prepared to meet the rigors of high school. I'll take the time to break down any concept, scaffolding earlier concepts to build the foundations essential for math success.
