About Virgil
Curiosity drives my approach to the keys. Music has been my quiet life since childhood. I possess an MMus in Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music and have dedicated 13 years to teaching.
My focus remains on building technique without losing the joy of playing. I incorporate memorization techniques, rhythm, timing, chord voicing, posture, and hand position.
I also cover accompaniment skills, classical repertoire, sight transposition, jazz improvisation, scales, arpeggios, and grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity. Success is coming. I want to help you reach your musical goals.

My 13 years of experience inform every minute spent at the bench. We address rhythm and timing while refining posture and hand position. You will explore scales, arpeggios, and chord voicing. I look forward to hearing you play your first piece.
