"Sometimes the most difficult part of learning French is simply opening your mouth to speak the first sentence. My lessons are structured around providing you with the technical foundation needed to express yourself clearly.

Using my BA and CELTA training, I guide you through accent and intonation drills that mimic authentic speech patterns. I incorporate mock DELF papers with detailed feedback to ensure we are tracking your progress against established benchmarks. We spend time on role play and dialogue practice to prepare you for interviews or daily professional interactions. It is a satisfying experience to see the pieces finally click into place for my students."

About the lesson

"It is quite common to find that language learning feels like an overwhelming puzzle until you have the right pieces. My 17 years of classroom work in Perth have shaped a very methodical approach to the language. Having taught 138 students, I observe that consistency is the primary factor for long-term success.

My own journey as a trilingual tutor informs how I structure the transition from beginner to intermediate. I find that teens and adults benefit most when we integrate cultural context alongside the technical grammar rules.

There is a specific rhythm to French that takes time to internalize through practice. I enjoy the process of watching students gain clarity over complex verb conjugations. My focus remains on clear communication for both business and social settings.
