About Gary
I graduated in Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester with an upper second-class degree (2:1) and about to commence a master's degree in Biological Science. I have received strong grades in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Metabolism, Genetics, Microbiology, Chemistry and Plant Science. I have accrued research and laboratory experience; having analytical and practical laboratory skills as well as a well rounded understanding of computational methods in biology.
I am interested in becoming a tutor because I can see the potential that many young people have and I would like to help them meet this potential to become a professional in this field. The students of today are the ones that will discover major breakthroughs in the future in the field of the biological/life sciences. I want to help them get started on their career paths and provide them with the support they need to pursue this profession.

As a recent graduate, I also have an understanding of modern teaching methods using PowerPoint with a problem based approach which includes multimedia animations and video clips. This is to ensure all aspects of the teaching methods have been fulfilled to ensure no one is left behind. I will also be providing sufficient background learning and references from each part I teach so that anything not clearly understood can be followed up.
