About Amanda

I'm Amanda Zari, a 36-year-old mom who not only pursues my own acting endeavors, but also coaches my two boys, who are aspiring actors themselves. I absolutely love helping people perfect their audition videos and guiding them towards success. Over the past two years, I've had the incredible opportunity to be a part of several remarkable productions. From the high-energy musical "9 to 5" to the heartwarming holiday classic "A Christmas Story," I've had the pleasure of diving into diverse roles and bringing them to life on stage. Additionally, I've had the privilege of participating in numerous one-act plays, which have further expanded my range and allowed me to explore different styles of storytelling. Beyond my own acting endeavors, I find immense fulfillment in coaching and mentoring others. Sharing my knowledge and experience with aspiring actors brings me great joy. I believe in creating a supportive and nurturing environment where actors can thrive and unlock their full potential. Guiding them through the audition process and helping them polish their videos is a rewarding experience that I cherish. Being a mom and an actress has its challenges, but it also fuels my determination and drive. I want to set an example for my boys and show them that with hard work, dedication, and a passion for what you do, anything is possible. Together, we are a team, supporting and encouraging each other every step of the way. In the ever-evolving world of acting, I am committed to continuing my growth as an artist, pushing boundaries, and exploring new opportunities. Acting is not just a career for me, but a way of life. I am grateful for the incredible experiences I've had so far, and I look forward to what the future holds.

About the lesson

Throughout my tutoring experience, I have had the pleasure of working with students who are passionate about acting. I have found great joy in helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential in this creative field.

In my approach to tutoring, I believe in tailoring my lessons to the unique needs and goals of each student. I understand that acting is a deeply personal art form, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their emotions, honing their craft, and expressing themselves authentically.

I begin by assessing each student's current skill level and understanding their individual strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I design lesson plans that are specifically tailored to their needs, focusing on areas such as character development, script analysis, improvisation, vocal techniques, and stage presence.

I believe in the power of personalized feedback and constructive criticism. During our sessions, I provide detailed feedback that highlights the student's progress and offers guidance on areas that need further refinement. I encourage open dialogue and collaboration, allowing students to actively participate in their learning process and take ownership of their growth as actors.

In addition to practical acting techniques, I also emphasize the importance of self-confidence and self-expression. I work with students to develop a strong sense of self-awareness, encouraging them to embrace their unique qualities and use them to enhance their performances.

Overall, my tutoring experience in acting has been incredibly rewarding. It brings me great joy to witness the growth and transformation of my students as they discover their own artistic voice and develop a deep passion for the craft of acting.
