About Khushi
I grew up in India and have always been passionate about learning and education. I was a very studious student growing up, with English, Science and Mathematics being some of my favorite subjects.
I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, graduating with a Distinction, where I had the opportunity to study a diverse range of subjects, including Psychology. I then moved to Australia and recently completed my two-year Master of Counseling at Monash University.
Alongside my studies, I have gained hands-on experience working with children across Melbourne. I have worked as an Education Support worker at special schools through ANZUK and Free Agency, supporting students with a range of learning and developmental needs. I have also worked as a counselor at Mentone Primary School.
These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, empathy and adapting to each child’s individual needs. I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them feel more confident in themselves and their abilities. I’m excited to bring my academic background and experience working in schools into tutoring and create a positive, comfortable and encouraging learning environment for my students.

About my lessons
I offer supportive, personalized lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning style, needs and goals. My approach is not just about completing schoolwork, but helping students build confidence, stay motivated and develop a positive attitude towards learning. I’m happy to work with primary school students across subjects and can adapt lessons depending on what they need the most support with.
My personal approach
I’m a patient, friendly and encouraging tutor who believes every child learns differently. Through my experience as an Education Support worker in special schools and as a counselor at a primary school, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how important patience, empathy and positive reinforcement are when working with children. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace. My counseling background also allows me to support students with confidence, motivation and organization alongside their academics.
