About Clover

I am a passionate Saxophone tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, and I have successfully taught around 150 students from beginners to advanced learners. I enjoy helping students build strong fundamentals and grow steadily in their musical abilities.

My tutoring approach focuses on clear fundamentals and gradual progress. I start by teaching correct posture, breathing technique, tone production, and finger coordination. These basics help students play comfortably and avoid bad habits. As students progress, I introduce scales, rhythm training, sight-reading, and song performance.

Lessons are carefully planned based on the student’s level and learning speed. I combine practical exercises with simple explanations so students understand what they are doing and why. I also guide students on how to practise effectively at home.

My unique strength is my ability to guide students patiently while ensuring steady improvement. My goal is to help students gain confidence, musical understanding, and enjoyment while playing the saxophone.

About the lesson

My saxophone teaching methodology emphasises adaptability, positivity, and collaboration. I believe every student has a unique learning style, so I design lessons to match their pace, interests, and goals—using listening exercises, demonstration, and hands-on practice.

Flexibility is central to my teaching. Lessons evolve according to progress and motivation, ensuring learning is both challenging and enjoyable. Collaboration allows students to actively participate, explore improvisation, and contribute ideas, building both confidence and creativity.

I foster a positive and encouraging environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges are turned into learning opportunities. Lessons cover saxophone technique, musical interpretation, improvisation, performance preparation, and theory for a comprehensive musical foundation.

I also teach complementary subjects such as sight-reading, ear training, ensemble performance, and music theory. My aim is to develop confident, expressive, and versatile musicians.
