About Lilly

For 5 years, I have been teaching piano to high school students, college learners, and elderly adults, guiding over 150–200 students in total. My passion for education drives me to create lessons that are simple, kind, and encouraging. A major milestone in my career has been helping students participate in music recitals and school performances, where many of them achieved personal victories.

I believe every student can learn music with the right support, no matter their age or background. My approach focuses on patience, clear explanations, and steady improvement. I enjoy helping students discover their own musical voice and feel proud of the progress they make. Teaching piano has allowed me to connect with people, build their confidence, and share the joy of music through every lesson.

About the lesson

I teach piano by connecting music to real-life situations so that every concept becomes easier to understand. I use simple examples and case studies to explain ideas like tempo, articulation, and hand coordination. This helps students build strong musical understanding. Motivation is important to me. I encourage students to enjoy learning, stay patient, and celebrate steady progress. A motivated student learns faster and feels more confident.

Problem-solving plays a big part in my lessons. We work through challenges by breaking down music into steps, finding patterns, and testing different practice methods. This prepares students to handle new pieces with confidence. I teach with integrity by giving honest and supportive feedback. Flexibility helps me personalise each lesson based on the student’s goals—whether they want to play classical pieces, popular songs, or improve general music knowledge. I also teach related subjects like rhythm training and theory in the same practical and student-focused way.
