About Paola

Hi! I'm Paola, an enthusiastic and approachable person who loves learning and sharing knowledge with others. Throughout my studies, I realized that one of the things I enjoy most is explaining complex topics in a simple and understandable way and seeing someone gain confidence as they begin to understand.

I believe that a good tutor is not just someone with strong academic knowledge, but someone who is patient, encouraging, and genuinely interested in their students' progress. I always aim to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. While I value professionalism and mutual respect, I also enjoy building a positive connection with my students so that lessons feel engaging rather than intimidating.

Teaching is a rewarding experience for me because every student is different, and I enjoy finding the approach that works best for each individual. My goal is to help students not only improve their results but also become more confident and independent learners.

About the lesson

I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and supported. I always aim to create a relaxed, friendly, and welcoming environment where students feel confident asking questions without worrying about making mistakes. While I maintain professionalism and mutual respect, I prefer to build an approachable and positive relationship rather than a formal one, as I believe this helps students enjoy learning and achieve their full potential.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes; however, longer sessions may be arranged if needed. I will encourage the students to participate and ask questions.

I hold a Master's degree in Biotechnologies of Human Reproduction and graduated with honors. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in biology, genetics, cell biology, physiology, and reproductive biology, as well as hands-on laboratory and research experience.

My lessons are suitable for secondary school students and university students who need support with biology or related subjects.

I also offer lessons in both English and Italian, allowing students to learn in the language they feel most comfortable with. Whether you are a native speaker, an international student, or simply looking to improve your understanding of biology in either language, I am happy to adapt my teaching.
