About Asher
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and hold a BSc in Chemistry. My main interest lies in quantum chemistry, and I enjoy making its challenging concepts clear and engaging for learners. Many students find the subject abstract, but with the right approach, it can become both fascinating and manageable. I focus on helping students understand atomic and molecular orbitals, bonding theories, and spectroscopic transitions. These areas are taught with a mix of illustrative models and theoretical derivations so learners can see both the concepts and the logic behind them. By blending visualization with step-by-step explanation, I make abstract ideas feel more concrete. I have experience working with both chemistry majors and physical science students at the university level. My teaching methodology in Chemistry is systematic and clear, designed to simplify even the most complex concepts. That’s why I guide students patiently, highlighting their strengths while providing clear strategies to improve weaker areas. I work especially well with those who are curious about environmental systems and marine science, as these fields often connect deeply with chemistry. Both practical thinkers and detail-oriented learners find their approach supported in my sessions. Ultimately, my goal is to help students build a strong foundation for organic synthesis and beyond.
