About Shengan
As a dedicated and results-driven tutor, my mission is to empower students with the clarity, confidence, and skills they need to succeed—whether in high school, university, or professional development. I do emphasize result-centric, but I also pay strong attention to the small steps that build the path to the successful results. With a strong background in Data Science of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, academic writing, and data-driven thinking, I bring a wealth of expertise and a track record of helping students not only improve their grades but transform how they approach learning. I wish to make sure they enjoy the process of getting the why behind the concepts and love what they are learning, and hence make them feel strong and confident in the other parts of their lives outside learning.

My approach to tutoring centers on patience, engagement, and adaptability: 1. Patience: I explain the idea and bullet points to students patiently until they understand and feel strong about the topics we covered during each lesson 2. Engagement: I integrate interactive elements like problem-solving together, using whiteboards (digital or physical), coding live (if it’s a technical subject), or role-playing for soft skills. 3. Adaptability: I incorporate small reviews at the beginning and end of each session to reinforce memory and track progress. Moreover, I try to focus on helping students to get a conceptual understanding over memorization. I always enable my students to grasp the why behind concepts. I use analogies, real-world applications, and Socratic questioning to deepen understanding.
