About Tavlin Kaur
Hi! I'm a Health Data Science postgraduate from the University of Birmingham, where I graduated with Distinction. I currently work as an Information Analyst at Public Health Scotland, applying data analysis, statistical methods and programming to real-world healthcare data.
My academic background combines healthcare management, statistics, programming and data science. Through my studies and professional experience, I've developed practical skills in R, Excel, Python and data visualisation.
I understand that learning statistics or programming can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you're just starting out. That's why I believe in breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, using practical examples and encouraging questions.
I enjoy helping people develop skills they can genuinely use in their studies, careers and everyday work.
