About Ivy
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Astrophysics. My passion lies in the history of physics and the groundbreaking experiments that have shaped our understanding of the universe. I love exploring Galileo’s experiments, Newton’s laws, Maxwell’s equations, and the discoveries of the quantum revolution with my students.
I aim to make each lesson more than just formulas and calculations. We dive into the stories behind the science, understanding the curiosity and intellectual bravery that drove these discoveries. I guide students to appreciate the scientific method and the importance of questioning and experimenting. Lessons are interactive, encouraging critical thinking and reflection on the evolution of ideas.
Through discussions and demonstrations, I help students connect historical breakthroughs to modern physics concepts. I focus on nurturing curiosity while strengthening problem-solving and analytical skills. My goal is to make physics both inspiring and accessible.
