About Shakthi
I am an MTech Computer Science student in Chennai with a strong passion for creative writing, poetry, and literature. While my academic background is technical, my true strength lies in understanding and expressing ideas through language with clarity and depth. I have always been someone who sees English not just as a subject, but as a powerful tool for thought, creativity, and self-expression.
What sets me apart is my ability to make students feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their own voice. I don’t believe in rigid or intimidating teaching methods—instead, I focus on guiding students to think independently, write meaningfully, and communicate with ease.
I chose to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping others unlock their potential and see their growth over time. My sessions are supportive, engaging, and designed to bring out the best in every student, whether they are beginners or looking to refine their skills.

My approach to teaching English, especially creative writing, poetry, classics, and literature, is focused on making students feel the subject rather than just study it. I believe literature is not about memorizing meanings, but about understanding emotions, perspectives, and expression.

We begin with a quick discussion or warm-up to connect with the topic, followed by exploring texts—whether it’s a poem, a classic excerpt, or a writing prompt. I guide students through interpretation, themes, and writing techniques in a very practical and easy-to-understand manner. Every session includes a creative element, where students write, reflect, or express their ideas freely.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and highly personalized. I focus on building confidence in writing and speaking, helping students develop their own voice instead of forcing rigid formats. I also share simple frameworks and techniques that make writing clearer, more expressive, and impactful.
These classes are ideal for school students, beginners, and anyone who wants to improve their creative writing, understand literature deeply, or become more confident in expressing their thoughts in English.
