About Yamkelani
My name is Yamkelani Khwalikhwali, and I’m a passionate languages student at North-West University with a strong academic background in literature, language, and communication. I’ve always been drawn to the power of words, how they shape the way we think, express, and connect. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share this love for language with others while helping students gain confidence in their own abilities. I’m interested in teaching because I believe education is one of the most powerful tools for personal and social change. I know how overwhelming English and literature can seem at first, especially when dealing with older texts or complex grammar, but with the right support, anyone can learn to read deeply, write clearly, and speak confidently. I aim to be that support for my students: someone who is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in their growth.
