About

I am a warm, curious, and energetic multilingual tutor who loves building genuine connections through language and culture. Originally from China and after 10 in Europe, I am living in Japan now. I spent 10 years living in France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg. This journey gave me not only fluency in Chinese, French, and English, but also an open-minded perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural exchange. My personality is friendly, patient, and attentive—I enjoy listening to my students’ ideas, understanding their goals, and designing lesson plans that truly fit them. I believe every learner is unique, so I adapt my teaching style and materials to match different personalities, learning speeds, and interests. Whether it’s using role-play, storytelling, songs, games, or real-life tasks, I make sure learning feels active and enjoyable. I am passionate about teaching because I see it as more than just transferring knowledge—it’s about inspiring curiosity, building confidence, and creating a space where students feel understood and motivated. My thinking is dynamic and creative, so I’m always finding new ways to make lessons engaging and practical. I focus on real-life application of language, helping learners use what they’ve learned confidently in conversations, travel, study, or work. Outside of teaching, I love traveling, art, reading, and exploring cultural traditions from around the world. I believe these experiences enrich my lessons and help me connect with students from all walks of life. For me, teaching is a journey we take together—and I’m excited to walk that path with each learner.

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals.

For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in pronunciation, vocabulary, and basic grammar through practical exercises and real-life examples. For intermediate and advanced learners, I use authentic materials—such as articles, short videos, and cultural topics—to develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence.

Over the past years, I have helped French adults successfully achieve conversational Chinese within 6–8 months, guided French children to pass school Chinese assessments with high scores, and coached Japanese learners in French and English for travel, business, and academic purposes. Many of my students have gone on to use their new language skills confidently in real-life situations, such as studying abroad, presenting at work, or traveling independently.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous content, followed by a targeted activity to introduce new material, and ends with conversation practice or role-play to apply what you’ve learned in a real-life context. I also provide personalized feedback and learning tips after each session.

What sets me apart is my multicultural background: I live in Japan now, and I have lived in France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Japan for a total of 10 years, and I have taught Chinese to French adults and children, as well as French and English to Japanese learners. This allows me to bring cultural insights into language lessons, making learning more engaging and relevant.

My lessons are suitable for all ages and levels—whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for exams, improving your business communication, or learning for travel and cultural interest.
