About Emily
Hi, I am Emily Howard. My best teachers at school were the ones who were passionate about their subjects hence why I only teach subjects I absolutely love. I will happily explain a concept as many times as it takes my students to understand it. I also try teaching in a variety of ways using; visuals, videos, demonstrations, experiments, or things they can relate to. Most importantly my students must enjoy their lesson and look forward to the next one so I strive to make learning an exciting experience.

I tutor in English and find the best way is to approach my students on their 'level'. I always begin with the basics and background of the subjects and then dive deeper into more detailed concepts, continually checking that my students are understanding. I like to end each lesson by giving my students the opportunity to ask questions which I answer then or explain in our next lesson.
