About Nicholas
I have been ministering for over 10 years.
I'm in love with the "whys" of music, and one of my greatest pleasures in life is this quest to understand more, and better, every little detail of this vast musical universe.
I've been immersed in the musical environment since very young (pianist mother), I officially started my studies at the age of 12, as a drum student, but soon I migrated to electric guitar and popular guitar. I participated for a few years in the kid project, as a percussion student, and at 17 I started my de facto professionalization, joining the Carlos Gomes Conservatory in Campinas, where I graduated in classical guitar and music theory. Currently bachelor's degree (5th year) of the musical composition course at Unicamp.

For students of all entry levels, even those who are freshly starting out, who want to master musical analysis and creation, taught in the simplest way possible (but not superficially). The topics range generally from music notation to harmony, chord functions, phraseology and compositional principles .
I believe in absorbing content through practice, analysis and repetition, as is the method I apply in my classes. The general order of subjects follows a path that starts with basic musical concepts, notation, goes through scales, harmony, and finally analysis and composition, but the actual teaching process is personally tailored for each student, based on his/her needs.
