About Rolando

Hello! My name is Rolando and I am here to help any beginner saxophone player start strong on their journey, and to find success on the instrument. I am a Music Education Major at UTEP and have extensive experience as a performer in both jazz and classical music. I cater to and encourage students to ask questions, as well as feel free to make mistakes so I can meet them where they're at. I can offer online or in-person lessons. I am a patient, student-oriented teacher and will meet you where you are at. I structure lessons around 3 areas: tone, technique, and content. I set myself apart because I can put myself in your shoes and understand how and what is important to achieve in your personal goals. I cater to beginner/intermediate students looking to enhance their proficiency on the saxophone.
