About Josephine

This is my first official time offering lessons for beginners in guitar however I have been learning the instrument since around 12 years old, until the age of 18. I have used three different types of guitars: classical first, acoustic second, electric currently. I have obtained two Certificates in Electric Guitar at Grades 5 and 6. I also studied Music Technology at A-Level, putting into practice what I have learned in music theory and through guitar practice.

About the lesson

I aim to teach those who are beginners in learning, and interested in starting to play.
I think it is important to first get an idea of what the student knows and what they would like to take from these lessons. With this approach, I would aim to start with a presentation to set the tone of the lesson and then move onto practical exercises. There will come a point when we can look at songs once the student feels comfortable with the basics. At the end, a recap of the lesson is a good way to finish and then discuss topics for the next lesson.
