About Eve

I am singer-songwriter from London who has recently completed a Masters in Popular Music Performance at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance where I received a high Distinction. I have been performing my own music live since 2019, after years of classical training. I hold ABRSM Grade VIII in Voice, as well as an A* in Music A-Level. I also hold a 2:1 in History (BA) from the University of Bristol. I'm always wanting to talk music with others, and if I can share my knowledge while helping some students out on the way, then it's a win for everyone! I have tutored in History, Music, and Maths on-and-off since 2015. This has been tutoring for GCSE and A-Level abilities, although I am comfortable tutoring in any age range. About the lesson

I tailor my approach to each student based on their needs, interests, and abilities. The typical lesson is 60 minutes, although this can be altered dependent on the student's age and level. We will work together on basic music theory upwards with exercises to help you hone your theoretical knowledge. This will be taught on piano and practically using scores. I have just completed my Masters in Popular Music Performance at ICMP in London. I have ABRSM Grade VIII in Voice and Theory. Besides music theory and history, I teach piano and singing lessons. I have a holistic approach to instrumental teaching, embracing a range of pedagogies such as the Suzuki Method. Together, we'll find a way of learning that best suits your needs and helps you become the best musician you can be!

I have increased my hourly rate by £5 this year, for the first time since 2023. I have also added £3 to each lesson to contribute to travel costs to and from lessons, as previously travel costs were not included in lesson pricing.
