About Harry
I'm a musician who has played guitar/bass and synth in many different bands. I've toured around the country playing original music in theatres and pubs. While I was studying a Bachelor of Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, I became more involved in the production and recording side of making music, and have since been working on many different recording, production, and mixing projects while also teaching music lessons in the studio. I specialize in pop/rock genres of music - I've had music that I've worked on played on Triple J, FBI Radio, Rage, and lots of other places. I have also worked on many other genres, having recorded and mixed a lot of hip-hop and electronic music, and almost any other contemporary genre out there. My studio is full of guitars, synths, drum machines, microphones, guitar pedals and amps, and a heap of other vintage and new gear that can be involved in any lessons and recordings that we make during sessions.

As well as being an experienced guitar/general music teacher, I teach music production, mixing, recording, and mastering. Using both vintage gear and the latest computer software, we can learn any element of making music in a studio setting that interests you. From hip-hop production and learning the history of sampling music to how to record vocals or play guitars in the studio. I'm happy to go with whatever you want to learn and work on, or I can definitely take the lead and take the lesson in whatever direction would be most beneficial and interesting for each student. Lessons can take place at my home music studio in the Eastern Suburbs, or we can adapt to do lessons at your place, or I have a really cool Zoom setup with multiple camera angles that we can do lessons on!
