About Chris
I am an active producer/songwriter/artist with a degree and teaching diploma from the Royal Academy of Music (London) trained in Pop/Jazz/Classical music. I have 20 years of experience using industry standard music technology including Ableton, Protools, Logic etc. I have been in bands, made solo records, written, produced and mixed records for artists, created bespoke music for film and television and had performed extensively around the world as a touring musician. I am a multi-instrumentalist and am also trained in music theory. I currently use Ableton Live for most of my production work due to the creative nature of the program and the incredible flexibility it offers.

I write and produce a very diverse range of music, from radio-friendly pop through to film/television/sound-design work. Each Project I do requires a different approach and so I tailor my lessons to the individual student to focus on their learning goals. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and welcome the students input on topics of discussion in order to maximise their potential and insure an in-depth understanding of the processes most important to them as well as an over-view of more general concepts of recording/writing/producing.
