About Matt
I write music on my own and with other people, and have a lot of experience gigging in a psychedelic-pop-jazz band around Leeds and Nottingham, but also compose gentler, bossanova-style guitar pieces, as well as electronic music. I don't really have anything else to say about myself but needed another three words.

As a recent graduate of Leeds Conservatoire with a first in music production, I am here to share my skills and approaches to recording music: I will teach you to use technology to record your own music and also to offer my input on a wide variety of instrumental and production techniques that would help take the song in the direction you choose. I have a lot of ideas and play a lot of instruments including classical, acoustic and electric guitar and multiple pedals; synthesiser; sampler; drum machine; kalimba, along with a variety of percussion instruments. I am experienced teaching complete beginner, intermediate and advanced songwriters to realise their compositions technically, using computer-based recording software Logic Pro X. I can teach in London, Nottingham or Leeds.
