About Rafael

I have been a teacher for 6 years. However, I have now graduated and made it my full-time job.
I have taught more than 20 students and never had any negative feedback.

Some of my students decided they did not need to take a music related course. The most beneficial factor a degree gives you is motivation. It does little for your CV in the Music Industry. But interacting with other people who are trying to achieve the same as you gives you motivation and makes you learn quicker. It is also very expensive.

If you motivate yourself, you do not need a degree because what you learn in University, you can learn from me or anyone else with experience.

Another advantage of private lessons is the fact that I will always be available to answer any questions and help you with your work and I do not have 50 other students all assigned to me, like your University tutors will.

About the lesson

I have got experience in studio recording and producing, post-production (mixing and mastering), live sound (BBC), sound for picture and composing. I am proficient in Pro Tools and Logic and can learn any other DAW quickly. Music is my life and what I spend all my time doing, I am involved in several projects as producer and mixing engineer and I am the lead singer of a band.
Love music, no matter what genre. I compose for film, animation, advertisements and do sound design as well. I am constantly surrounded by amazing musicians which made me learn music theory as well.

If you are interested in expanding your musical knowledge and improving your producing, writing, playing or singing skills or just record your own music and learn how to make it sound professional, I am the right person.
I am very flexible with my lessons since everyone learns differently and although there are teaching methods that have proven successful in the past, I keep changing the structure of my lessons depending on the subject and student.
