About Mio
I have played guitar for the last 10 years or so, and did performing arts for most of my childhood, but it wasn't until I got to college where I decided music was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
After 3 years of college, I spent my first year of university at Leeds Conservatoire where I continued my studies in bass, before returning to my hometown to continue my studies at BCU.
Since my return to Birmingham, I have worked alongside dozens of incredible musicians and industry professionals on arrangements, recordings, performances, and more.
I have reached a point in my playing and knowledge where feel I can guide others, and I believe that teaching, learning, and sharing ideas and knowledge is what music is all about.

I’m a 2nd Popular Music student with a Grade 8 in bass and around Grade 6 in acoustic guitar. I’m passionate about helping others learn, and I’m offering BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE BASS and GUITAR lessons for ANY AGE!
Since I’m still learning and improving myself, I understand the challenges and frustrations that come with mastering an instrument. That’s why I’m here to guide you, using practical methods to help you get comfortable and confident, all at your own pace. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up, I’ll make sure we go in the direction you want.
