My name is Alejandra, and my teaching approach is flexible, clear, and adapted to each student’s needs and goals. I believe that learning the violin should be an accessible, understandable, and motivating process, regardless of the student’s age, level, or previous experience.
Teaching method and approach
I teach violin technique in a general and universal way, focusing on fundamental aspects such as posture, hand positions, bow use, intonation, rhythm, and coordination. These foundations are essential for playing the violin in any musical genre and are adapted to each student’s learning pace.
In addition to the instrument, I place strong emphasis on music theory and reading sheet music. I teach note reading from the very beginning, even to students who have never studied music before. This theoretical foundation is applicable not only to the violin, but to any musical instrument, helping students understand music rather than simply repeat it.
Typical lesson structure
Lessons follow an organized but flexible structure, which may include:
