About Lorraine
I am a workshop facilitator for schools both programming and delivering workshops. I've worked in a number of environments including adults with learning disabilities and profound motor and learning difficulties to young people struggling with the effects of multiple exclusions. As a disabled artist myself I understand both the struggles and joys associated with learning and musicality when dealing with long-term difficulties.
In addition to my extensive workshop and school workshop delivery experience I also have about 3 years of private tutoring experience which I have enjoyed very much.
The reason I have chosen musicology as my subject is because although physical restrictions prevent me from being able to demonstrate these of instruments for any significant period of tkme, the love of music admits scientific nontechnical components along with its psychological effect on theory and brain have long been a topic of interest to myself to my managing my own sensory difficulties along with a love of music based theory.
