About Nikki
Teaching has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. After many years working professionally as a director and choreographer, I’m passionate about passing on my knowledge and experience to the next generation of performers.
For me, teaching is about more than technique. It’s about helping students build confidence, find their voice and discover what they are capable of. Whether a student is preparing for a drama school audition, working towards a LAMDA exam or simply exploring their love of performance, I find it incredibly rewarding to support them on that journey.
Even after many years in the industry, my love of theatre and performance continues to inspire me, and teaching allows me to share that passion while helping others grow.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a warm, supportive and inspiring environment where students feel confident to explore, take risks and develop as performers. Lessons are tailored to each individual, helping them build strong technique while growing in confidence and stage presence.
We work carefully on selecting and shaping songs or monologues that highlight each student’s strengths while encouraging deeper emotional connection, character understanding and storytelling. I aim not only to teach technique but to support the whole performer, helping students feel prepared, confident and authentic in their performances and auditions.
Private lessons are one hour long and tailored to each student’s goals. Lessons may include acting technique, Musical Theatre performance, vocal and speech work, LAMDA preparation, audition technique and developing triple-threat skills.
I have over 35 years’ experience as a professional director, choreographer and tutor. In the early 1990s I worked with the Cameron Mackintosh company but now I regularly coach students for LAMDA exams, drama school auditions and West End auditions, and many of my students have gone on to train at leading schools including Guildford School of Acting, ArtsEd, Emil Dale Academy, London College of Music, Laine, Urdang, Bird College and Italia Conti, with many now performing in the West End and national tours.
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have worked with children and adults for over 40 years.
Lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced performers. I work with children, teenagers and adults interested in acting, Musical Theatre, LAMDA exams, drama school auditions or simply developing confidence and performance skills.
