About Ben

I'm a professional theatre director, performer and movement director with over 20 years of experience working across theatre, film and education. I hold an MA in Drama Directing from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and have taught performers of all ages and abilities. My passion is helping people discover confidence, tell stories truthfully and develop their own unique performance style in a supportive, creative environment.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals, whether you're preparing for an audition, building confidence or developing as a musical theatre performer. My teaching focuses on acting, movement, character, storytelling and stage presence rather than vocal technique. If you bring a song, we'll explore how to perform it truthfully through character, intention and physicality, helping you create a confident, engaging performance. Drawing on my experience as a professional director, choreographer and performer, I provide practical, supportive coaching for performers of all ages and experience levels.
