About Cheryl
Conversation flows naturally when you engage with the cultural roots of the language. To tell the truth, I actually enjoy reviewing weekly conversation recordings more than correcting static papers. Reading comprehension, pronunciation, and everyday phrases for beginners define my technical approach. Speaking honestly, I find grammar rules much easier to explain when they are rhythmically linked to a melody.
I spent 13 years performing across the Montreal folk circuit while earning my BA Music populaire at UQAM. This degree grounds my linguistic perspective in the flow of French chanson. I regularly assist adults with relocation, immigration, travel French, and business French.
Preparing for exams like IELTS, DELE, or DELF requires a structured method. My lessons also incorporate writing skills, interview preparation, and accent and intonation work. Role play and dialogue practice make up the core of my weekly interactions.
