In my tutoring sessions, I adopt a personalized approach for each individual. When it comes to learning, especially math, everyone learns differently and it's important to me to recognize and understand that. My goal is to make complex problems not only understandable but also enjoyable!
A typical lesson with me begins with gaining an understanding of what the student is currently struggling with and how they are learning the material. From there, we work together to set goals and learn how we can improve. We will breakdown challenging problems and come up with a step by step guide for all challenging problems. We will practice with exercises and quizzes also.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that my degree is in both math and psychology. My unique background helps me employ innovative teaching techniques to enhance retention a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. Moreover, my empathetic approach ensures that I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—an extremely important aspect of the learning process!
