Hi! My name is Amanda Sarete. I am a first-generation Spanish speaker. My mom is Colombian and I grew up speaking Spanish at home. I currently am a Jr at Stony Brook University majoring in linguistics

Amanda Sarete is not only one of my closest friends, but she is also a natural leader who is empowering, intelligent, kind, and caring. She always knows how to help the people around her and never hesitates to offer support when someone needs it. Amanda has helped me with my homework and has also helped me improve my understanding of the Spanish language. What I admire most about her is her willingness to help others and make them feel supported. I am grateful to have Amanda as a close friend because she inspires me to learn, grow, and become a better person.
