About Cameron
Hi! My name is Cameron Campbell. I am a global soul. On my father's side, I am American and Australian on my mother's side. I was born in India and have lived in India, United States, Indonesia, Nepal, and Italy. When I am not teaching English, I am doing many things! I work as a program manager and consultant in sustainable business and conservation projects. Having grown up and having worked outside western countries, informally I have been teaching English to non-native speakers since the 1990s. However, I began teaching professionally around the year 2010. I also play the drums, beatbox, and write poetry. I incorporate my unique background into my lessons.

My English lessons are tailored to your needs and your dreams! I will create a unique learning plan just for you, based on the reason why you would like to learn English. Because I have lived all over the world and interacted with many non-native English speakers, I am aware of many of the mistakes you might make. That is why my approach to teaching English is based on enacting situations and interactions from real life. My lessons are for people who want or need to use English in their job or business. For example, to speak to American or British business partners in a more eloquent way, to negotiate a business deal, or to manage others who speak English fluently. I teach American English, but I know British English as well. My lessons usually start with a small conversation about what you did yesterday. My unique style of teaching is based on role-playing in a specific situation. We will decide on a scenario and act it out together using conversation. Then we analyze the conversation and discuss how well or poorly you spoke. After that, we discuss the grammatical rules that you followed or broke. Finally, we have another similar conversation. I am a unique teacher in that I incorporate rap and music in my lessons, so make it easy for you to remember things!
