About Laila
I'm currently a first year sports science student at University of Birmingham and considering I do a sports degree you can guess that I'm very competitive! I wasn't always academically smart and I understand the frustration of when you feel stuck on a particular topic however, this frustration is what got me from getting grade 3s in year 10 to getting grade 9s,8s and 7s in GCSE along with 3 A*s in A-level. My teaching style isn't strict at all however I will push you to the best of your ability! :)

Hi! As I've been through both GCSE and A-level I'm aware of how drastically long and boring lessons can seem however, with my lessons I'll teach 1-1 with my student not only to build a good student- tutor relationship but to also bring back the fun in subjects such as psychology as I know how exhausting essay planning can be and how hard it is to meet mark scheme criteria! Hopefully with me as your tutor we can use fun revision techniques best suited to you to help you get the grade you deserve and enjoy doing it! :)
